WHAT IS INTERHOPE?

Interhope (IH) is a nonprofit, charitable organization recognized by the irs as a 501(c)3, which means all gifts are tax deductible.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

IH is a group of Evangelical believers deter-mined to know Christ and make Him known through acts of compassion and outreach to the “least of these” around the world.

WHAT WE DO

Our primary outreach is to rescue abandoned and orphaned children from garbage dumps, street life, sweatshops, and brothels. We provide Christ-centered homes for these children and raise them to influence their own cultures for Christ in generations to come.

OUR DENOMINATIONAL CONNECTIONS

IH is not affiliated with any one denomination, though most of our supporters are found in United Methodist, Wesleyan, Presbyterian, Baptist, or nondenominational churches.

WHO ARE THE MISSIONARIES

Most of IH’s American missionaries have moved into positions of leadership now, having spent many years on the field train-ing nationals to lead and inspire their own people. This “teach a man to fish” approach is central to our ethos. We believe this is the most cost effective and productive approach to Christian missions.

HOW ARE WE SUPPORTED

IH currently provides orphan homes for more than 600 rescued children who have no one in the world to care for them… except the Lord and His people. We receive no support from governments, corpora-ons or denominations; 100% of our fund-ing comes from the monthly gifts of Christian families and churches.
